Jessie & The Revolvers
This was one of those shoots that made me realise how far I have come since starting photography, mainly with how I set up my camera for a shoot to minimise my work after the shoot.
By using a combination of filters and camera settings I was able to get the left image straight out of the camera and then do some simple tweaks to achieve the image on the right.
Putting the time in to really learn about my camera and how to achieve the different looks straight out of the camera has allowed me to streamline my editing process. This in turn allows me to give clients a much quicker turnaround time meaning they can get their content out fast, this turnaround time was the day after the shoot which delivered both photo and video!
For this shoot I was a second shooter working around the videographer they had hired to do a small video introduction of them so I was making use of the spare space I had without getting in the way. Whilst this was only meant to be press shots I did take the time to get some additional shots whilst they filmed their short video and filmed some behind the scenes stuff for them as well at no extra charge.
