My First Wedding Shoot

Late last month I had the honour of being one of the photographers for my friend’s wedding which was held at Gretna Green in Scotland.

Having done a lot of prep for the day I felt comfortable and ready for what I thought would be a stressful day. It turned out to be quite the opposite, being such a small wedding venue the options for shots were limited but the service was very well planned to make the best use of this space which made everything so much easier.

Throughout the day I was switching from photos to videos to make sure I had captured every moment in every way I could. This meant that not only was I able to give them pictures of each special moment but I also put together a short wedding video using their chosen song using all the clips I managed to get in between.

I understood that this was a day they would want to remember forever and I set out to make sure they felt every moment of it when they looked at the pictures or the video.
