Snowdon 2025

This is definitely up there with one of the best experiences I’ve had

I have never even hiked and somehow I got myself into making the challenging trip up to the top of Snowdon. it is something that I would love to do again as there are so many ways to get up and down the mountain and so many more photography opportunities. I can tell that I need to do a little more though as my legs were still aching 2 days after the climb but I think that also came with doing it in under 2hrs.

For those of you that know Snowdon we did the PYG route up the mountain and the Miners route down, for me this was the perfect mix of views and terrain. There were rock faces to work your way over, steep stairways to climb and almost vertical natural paths formed all the way up. Then the Miners track held some beautiful views with it taking you right down to the base of the mountain alongside two of its most beautiful lakes.
